The IEAA Accredited Bookkeeping Course allows Executive Assistants to build financial awareness and accounting skills. This is a two-day tutor-led Bookkeeping Course. The course is delivered in a virtual classroom and includes many practical exercises to build this new skill.

- Practical Explanation of the Double Entry System

- Understanding the ERP systems, sub-ledgers and General Ledgers.
- The preparation and balancing of a Trial Balance
Introduction to Accounting
- Year-end adjustments include accruals, depreciation, pre-payments, etc.
- What is an accrual
- Understand what is meant by Profit
- What is Cash Flow
- Overview of Financial Reports
- PostingJournals
Trial Balance and Financial Statements
- Preparing a Trial Balance from raw data
- The creation of straightforward Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Reports from Trial Balance
- What is month-end and year-end
Additional Info
The course teaches the fundamentals of bookkeeping by explaining its underlying principles. Experienced Bookkeeping trainers deliver all training. The course is offered in English, and the international standards of Finance are used. The course focuses more on posting information into the financial system at work. However, you should take the Finance for an Executive Assistant Course to learn more about financial reports.
Dates and Duration
Two-day Bookkeeping Course from 11:30 to 17:30 (eastern time) / 08:30 to 14:30 (pacific time). All training is delivered in a virtual classroom.
